DM5E series is the latest generation of portable ultrasonic thickness gauge for corrosion monitoring launched by GE sensing and testing technology. It greatly improves the performance of the previous corrosion thickness gauge and has better stability and repeatability of thickness measurement at normal temperature and high temperature. It can operate in the worst working environment and measure the wall thickness of pipelines, pressure vessels and storage tanks in oil and gas, petrochemical and power generation industries.
DM5E ultrasonic thickness measurement series includes three models, namely:
DM5EBasic has a rugged and ergonomically designed, it weighs only 223g, including AA batteries that work continuously for 60 hours, and is operated by one hand through a user-friendly interface. Sealed, watertight and dustproof membrane keyboard with minimum function keys and direction keys. Navigation through the menu makes the operation simple and intuitive.
The basic model includes min / max capture, B-scan, alarm and differential thickness measurement mode.
DM5E – Standard
DM5E includes all the functions of dm5ebasic, and provides dual multi mode, that is, the operation mode of measuring through the coating. When there is paint on the surface of the tested object, the net thickness of the material can be measured without removing the paint. This working mode has been used in DM4 series thickness gauge, and plays an important role in measuring metal thickness by coating. There is no need to remove the coating at the measuring point, which saves time and cost.
DM5EDL – Storage type
Dm5edl is similar to DM5E, except that a built-in data recorder supporting grid data file format is added. The data recorder can hold up to 50000 records. Files can be transferred to personal computer through Mini USB communication port. The file can also be directly imported into Microsoft Excel format through macro instructions. All alphanumeric data for file names and comments are entered directly through the keyboard.
